This is my first time to use Carpet & Flooring Store Ltd. Brilliant experience from stepping through the door to fitting. Craig is really knowledgeable ,helpful and pleasant in store, advising us on a carpet and laminate to suit our needs,then for the measurement check ,place the order and arranging the fitting, Craig couldn't have been more helpful, it only took 17 days from quote to finish.The fitters ( Kevin and the lady)did a really Great job of fitting the carpet and laminate. They cleaned up very carefully after they had done, keeping everywhere spotless. , who are the best fitters we have ever used. Thanks millions for great service from everyone involved, and I would definitely use it again. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic choice in store and great advice from Calum. Fitters were great and offered choices too. Very clean and organised. We have bought Amtico and laminate for several rooms. Great service and experience. Would gladly use again and recommend them. Thanks for the experience CFS

I very rarely leave reviews but in this case I felt like I had to. After being recommended the store by a close friend I went in to see them to discuss my flooring requirements - A full house with mixed carpets and wooden flooring all requiring measured, ordered and fitted. Carpet & Flooring Store Ltd were fantastic. As someone who doesn't like dealing with people like this from the first second I went in the store I was made to feel so calm and welcome. They handled everything from initial measuring right through to final fitting and at every step of the way exceeded my expectations. I was even surprised when after listening to my requirements they actually recommended me a floor with a lower cost as it was more suitable for my use (I'm not home a lot), which is rare to see - putting the customer experience first over the total cost they can charge. I will and do happily recommend the guys at Carpet & Flooring Store to everyone I know that has any flooring requirement at all and will continue to do so.

Unfortunately had a really bad experience with this company. I emailed them my complaint a week ago and haven't had anything back, so wanted to warn others. an excerpt from my complaint: 'We visited your showroom in person initially and had a great experience, lots of help and time from your staff, we had the consultation/ measure up and ordered our carpets and it had been a great service and experience so far. Unfortunately from then, things really dropped off. We were told there was already stock in of some of our carpets and we'd be able to get at least one room done ASAP - you'd be in touch. We didn't hear from anyone for 2 weeks - I tried emailing, phoning but noone replied, I eventually found out the Davidsons Mains staff were on holiday/ store was closed(?! So everything stops? No comms?) so was booked in for laying carpets 31st July by your Fife team. 31st comes around - 9.30 comes and goes, I phoned about 11am to be told there'd been a miscommunication and it was all booked for the 7th August - the week later. Not sure how this happened, but I understand mistakes and mix ups occur - but I was told they'd phone around fitters to see if they could squeeze us in one day earlier - someone would phone me back that day. Nothing happened, no further comms, and as usual - noone answers your phones! I very much feel that once the sale occurred, your duty of care just dropped off and this is so disappointing. The fitter showed up at 11am - no comms were around this, he had 2 of 3 carpets in his van, with no idea there was supposed to be a third. We had lots of large heavy furniture scheduled to be delivered and arranged lots of logistics around this. In addition to this, the 2 that were fitted - the fitter has left many scratches/ gouges on the skirtings, left the carpets in an incredible mess (fluff ALL over the floors) and has marked our brand new mattress (literally had it delivered yesterday) by dragging it along the wooden floor - there's marks and splinters with some tears. He came back to do the last carpet and refused to trim the door down saying it wasn't part of his service (we were told initially this would all be done) so we had to get a joiner out to do this. We actually decided to go with yourselves since we'd had terrible experiences previously with a larger carpet company so we wanted to go with a smaller company hoping for better service. The lack of communication with you since we paid for the carpets has been completely unacceptable. '

The team at Carpet and Flooring Store Ltd are the upmost professional in every way, I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my flooring. They have the widest range to choose from and make sure you are looked after every step of the way. From picking my flooring to this being fitted, I couldn’t be any more pleased with the service. They come highly recommended to anyone thinking about getting some work done. Thank you for everything! 10/10
