We were very impressed with how helpful both Graeme and Jim were. Our son needed new carpets for his entire house. Would definitely recommend using these guys over these big chain stores. It's a much better service here and good to support a local family business.

We're very happy with our new carpet. The fitters did an excellent job and were very friendly, professional, and speedy! We live in a very old tenement flat and there were a few fiddly bits, but they managed to find a solution for everything! We went for the "Pinacle" carpet - affordable but still feels very luxurious. We were recommended to try Carpet Bargain Store when looking for flooring for our new kitchen. I was surprised to find out that they were able to supply the same Luxury Vinyl Tiles that we had been quoted for by other, much ‘bigger’ (and better known) flooring suppliers as we had already been persuaded (by online reviews and the kitchen fitters) that this was ‘the way to go’ for a good price and great durability. We’d already decided on the style we wanted and CBS were able to not only supply the same flooring but also do it at a price that was considerably cheaper than all the other providers. They also recommended that we put down plywood sheets prior to fitting the LVT, to give a better finish and we are very glad that we did! CBS also gave us the contacts of some fitters, who quoted a lot less than we were quoted elsewhere. I must admit that I was slightly nervous about the job and finish we might get, considering the price was so cheap. It would have been a nightmare if our beautiful new kitchen was ruined by me trying to pinch pennies on the flooring! We could not have been more delighted with the quality of both the flooring and the finish. The fitters turned up when they said they would, having collected all the material from CBS. The job was completed very quickly and professionally and is one of my favourite parts of the new kitchen! I would highly recommend everyone contacting CBS for your flooring needs, no matter what type of flooring you are after. Don’t be put off by the idea that this is a tiny shop. Apparently this place has been in business for decades, which is a great sign of their enduring quality and reputation I could not be happier and will definitely contact them first, the next time we need any sort of flooring.

Horrible experience,I asked them to fit the vinyl under the sink support for a more cleanest job,but as I got distracted for a while they cut around wasting more time also,the agreement with the shop was to do the same with the toilet and they didn't. I could do this job on my own,if you call a professional worker you should suppose to get a better job done.very disappointed. The day after I decided to screw it on the floor as the vinyl wasn't hold the position as it wasn't fitted under the toilet and the sink support. This is my experience with them and it is right to leave a negative review. My mistake,I should send them back at home without to pay. People need to learn to do their job properly because this is the reason they are called for.
